Join us for a scenic bike ride on the Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail to get some coffee or tea at Afugã Coffee. We will be using CapMetro Bikeshare's electric bikes.
*CapMetro Rideshare requires riders to be at least 18 years of age.
Movability will cover the cost of bike rentals for this event; however, participants will need to download the CapMetro Bike Share app, set up an account, and have a credit card on file.
Tickets are FREE, but make sure to RSVP to reserve your spot before this event fills up!
Itinerary
Departing Trip
- 10:00 am: Arrive at CapMetro Bikeshare station on the corner of W Riverside Drive and S 1st St.
- 10:15 am: Get bikes from docs
- 10:15 am: Take bikes to Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail entrance at Auditorium Shores
- 10:40 am: Dock bikes at the station near East Ave and Nash Hernandez Senior Rd
- 10:40 am: Walk to Afuga Coffee (1 minute)
- 10:41-11:20 am: Enjoy a coffee or tea at Afuga!
Return Trip
- 11:20 am Walk back to CapMetro Bikeshare station and retrieve bikes (1 minute)
- 11:21 am: Ride from bike station to hike and bike trail via Art Dilly Dr & Nash Hernandez Sr. Rd.
- 11:38 am: Ride west on the hike and bike trail to the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge. Cross the pedestrian bridge and head east to Auditorium Shores (17 minutes).
- 11:40 am: Return bikes to Bikeshare station on the corner of W Riverside Drive and S 1st St.
